This piece reimagines the ancient loop in loop chain through contemporary materials, colour and form. 


Inspired by the salt lakes of Australia, where human intervention shapes the land yet life continues in extreme conditions, the design reflects themes of resilience, repetition and transformation. The repeated links echo persistence and adaptation, suggesting strength can emerge through challenge. 


By using acrylic rather than precious metal, the work shifts attention away from material value and toward craftsmanship, intention and design. The result is a chain that speaks to modern identity, to visibility, and to the quiet power of continuing, evolving and beginning again.
